Phetchabun Rajabhat University Poll over the COVID-19 showed that people were nervous and required the lockdown extension.

Phetchabun Rajabhat University conducted a public opinion survey in Phetchabun province over COVID-19 prevention during 9-10 May 2020. The samples were 600 people, most of them were young people, chosen by simple random sampling. Data were collected by an online questionnaire.

           The poll showed that the majority of samples (69.20%) were concerned about the outbreak of the COVID-19. On the other hand, only 7.60% said they were slightly concerned. According to good practice to the prevention of the COVID-19, it showed that 92.83% of the samples wore hygienic masks or cloth masks all the time when being with others, 86.67% often washed hands or used alcohol gel, and 79.00% stayed at home as much as possible. For the confidence in the management of COVID-19 prevention, it showed that 76.83% were moderately confident and very confident, only 2.67% of them were slightly confident.

           Persisting of lockdown measure, it showed that 100% of the samples wanted to have a continuous lockdown measure: 42.30% expressed that a strict measure should be processed until the COVID-19 is eliminated, 42.00% wanted to process a strict measure for a while and then gradually ease it up, and 14.83% wanted a strict measure should be processed until 31 May 2020 and then canceled it afterward.

           Public opinion on the Emergency decree, whether it can significantly stop the outbreak of the COVID-19 or not, the poll showed that the majority of samples (71.33%) expressed that the Emergency decree was important and very important in stopping the outbreak of the COVID-19.

 When inquiring about opinions of high and the highest confidence in using services of businesses and activities that have been eased up, the poll showed that 63.50% of the samples were confident in market businesses, not including pubs and bars, 63.16% were confident in restaurant businesses, 57.84% were confident in barber and beauty salon businesses, 54.83% were confident in retails, 54.50% were confident in sports and recreation, and 48% were confident in other businesses respectively.
