The roles and responsibilities of Phetchabun Rajabhat University as per the Rajabhat University Act, B.E. 2547 (2004), Article 8, are defined to achieve the objectives as per Article 7. They are as follows:

  • Seek truth for academic excellence based on local wisdom, Thai wisdom, and global wisdom.
  • Produce graduates who have knowledge and morality, a sense of being Thai, love and commitment to the local area, and promote lifelong learning in the community to help locals keep up with changes. The production of such graduates must have the number and quality in line with the country’s graduate production plan.
  • Enhance knowledge and understanding of the value, consciousness, and pride in the culture of the local area and the nation.
  • Learn and strengthen the resilience of community leaders, religious leaders, and local politicians to have a democratic spirit, morality, ethics, and the ability to manage community and local development for the benefit of the public.
  • Strengthen the profession of teachers, produce and develop teachers and educational personnel to have quality and standards that are appropriate for being a high profession.
  • Coordinate cooperation and mutual assistance between universities, communities, local government organizations, and other organizations, both domestic and foreign, for local development.
  • Study and seek ways to develop local technology and modern technology
