On September 29, 1973, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the teacher college, and on October 1, 1973, Mr. Noy Seepo, a lecturer at Pibulsongkram Teacher College, was appointed as the interim principal of Phetchabun Teacher College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 1976<\/strong><br>In 1976, Phetchabun Teacher College welcomed the first generation of students from Phetchabun and Phichit provinces. When the \u201cTeacher College Act, B.E. 2518,\u201d was promulgated on August 19, 1975, teacher colleges across the country were promoted as higher education institutions under the Ministry of Education. Then, the \u201cTeacher College Act (2nd Issue), B.E. 2527,\u201d passed in 1984, made the teacher colleges capable of producing graduates in subjects other than education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 1985<\/strong><br>The Teacher Training Council established the regulations for the Teacher College Group as Buddhachinaraj University, which included Phetchabun Teacher College, Pibulsongkram Teacher College, Nokhon Sawan Teacher College, and Kamphaeng Phet Teacher College, and its office was located at Pibulsongkram Teacher College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 1992<\/strong><br>The Department of Teacher Training, the Ministry of Education, delivered a respectful letter to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great or King Rama IX. Then, King Rama IX graciously bestowed the name \u201cPhetchabun Rajabhat Institute,\u201d which was likely to change the situation in accordance with Section 7 of the Rajabhat Institution Act, that is, a Rajabhat institute was a juristic person as a department in the Ministry of Education and an educational and research institution for local development. Its goals include providing high-level academic and vocational education, conducting research, providing academic services to society, preserving arts and culture, producing teachers, and promoting the academic standards of teachers and temporary personnel. Phetchabun Rajabhat Institute offers bachelor\u2019s degrees in education, science, liberal arts, and law for regular education, including education for temporary personnel and weekend education (bachelor\u2019s degree for higher vocation, weekend education with a 2-year bachelor\u2019s degree and a 4-year degree).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 1995<\/strong><br>His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great or King Rama IX affixed the royal signature to a Thai government gazette of the Rajabhat Institution Act on January 25, 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 1971Mr. Chamroon Piyamputra, governor of Phechabun, and business people, villagers, and MPs from Phetchabun province addressed a letter to the Minister of Education requesting the establishment of a teacher college.
